Tomorrow is 2008.  Here we have a recap of what has happened over the last year.

• We’ve had a new server
• Site has been redesigned (lightbox for images, new layout and great look)
• New logo and banner
• Loads of new Sites have been made
• New Customer chat for instant help on our site
• New Remote access system to remotely help clients
• Updated client sites for Web 2.0 and for greater security
• New tutorial on Joomla 1.5 for clients (check it out-link on homepage-for how to use the new Joomla, which will be coming to sites pretty soon)
• And loads more behind the scenes stuff for all our sites. We really are dedicated to you and your sites, and ensuring that they remain top quality.

We don’t just make websites. We make sure that they remain top class. That’s why we are always working behind the scenes to tidy up code, to keep the designs standards compliant, to change features and ensure everything is running perfectly. Anything less is not good enough. That’s why people continue to come to Splendidesign: because we do not accept anything less than the best; time and time again we reach excellency. We are most certainly not a complacent design company. We are always striving to improve our websites more, in every way possible.

What are looking forward to in 2008?

We are hoping to push Splendidesign forward, to double our current clients, and to continue to ensure that our websites are better. Already, we have confirmed for 2008 another server enhancement, and some more websites.

Splendidesign is also looking for more external involvement in the future.

Splendidesign can only grow larger. Our sphere of influence already reaches across the entire world.

Well, it’s the summer and as usual the weather is as mixed as ever, but there’s lots going on at Splendidesign.

• All our sites are getting a new server, which should be about 2x quicker. This will increase performance and make the experience much better. Furthermore, up-time is going to be even better than the previous server
• We have put on the website a system called lightbox, which means that when you click some of the images (like the portfolio ones, the one at the bottom of the About Us and the one on the Services>>Marketing page), something quite funky happens. You have to have javascript enabled. Check it out, it’s pretty cool
• We have changed Splendidesign’s logo! It’s quite cool, and goes with the site well. If you have any comments on it, feel free to drop us an email
• We now have put a facebook badge on the Contact Us page, to make it easier for you to contact Splendidesign, and quickly

There are a few sites which are coming into their final stages, so look out for them across the site.

Not posted in a while…

We have recently made some software which enables us to connect to your computer so that we can help you with your computer problems. It is a safe piece of software, and is the latest in remote access technology. It will enable us to help our customers with their websites, and also any general computer problems. You can download the file required and see some additional information here

Other News:

• Splendidesign is now working on two more websites, and they should appear in the portfolio once they are finished.
• We are now working on updating all the sites to reduce risk of hacking. For example, we are updating the framework in order that it is harder to hack the site. It should make a large difference security-wise.
• We are now putting considerable time and effort into developing new Web 2.0 systems for our customers, so that their sites continue to be outstanding.
